Sometimes a website, quotation or video call is not enough.

PanDa Exports can visit a supplier, factory, warehouse or business location in China on your behalf, based on an agreed scope.

We can ask the questions you provide, take agreed photos and videos, record what we directly observe and report back after the visit.

A factory visit is not the same as a formal audit, product inspection or laboratory test. If specialist inspection is needed, that should be arranged separately.

What We Can Do During a Factory Visit

The visit starts with the questions you want answered.

Depending on the project, we can observe whether the stated location appears to be operating during the visit, photograph agreed areas, record video where permitted, ask questions prepared in advance and check whether specific products, equipment or production lines are physically present.

We can also note the general activity taking place during the visit and record obvious differences between what you expected to see and what is actually there.

Documents shown by the supplier can be photographed or recorded where permitted, but documents supplied by the company remain supplier-provided information unless independently verified elsewhere.

Your Questions Come First

We do not arrive at a factory with a generic checklist and assume every buyer wants the same information.

Before the visit, we agree on what matters to you.

You may want us to see whether a production line exists, photograph a particular product, check packaging, ask about lead time, confirm whether a machine is present or record equipment running.

The visit is built around those questions.

If something cannot realistically be checked during the visit, we would rather tell you before travelling than pretend it can be confirmed on site.

What We Saw and What the Supplier Said Are Not the Same Thing

A site visit can provide useful evidence, but the source of that evidence matters.

Not Confirmed During the Visit

Anything we could not independently establish from the visit itself.

For example, a supplier may say it employs 120 people. If 35 people are present while we are there, we can report what we saw, but we should not turn that observation into a conclusion about the company’s total headcount.

The same applies to production capacity, annual sales, export volume and other figures that cannot normally be confirmed by a short site visit.

A Factory Visit Is Not a Factory Audit

A general factory visit is useful for seeing the site, answering practical questions and recording what is happening at a particular time.

It is not a formal factory audit, social compliance audit, engineering assessment, product certification review or laboratory inspection.

It also does not guarantee future product quality or production performance.

If a project requires specialist testing, technical inspection or a formal audit, we can first clarify the requirement and discuss whether an independent qualified provider should be involved.

When a Factory Visit Can Be Useful

Before a first order or a larger deposit.
You have never met the supplier.
The supplier claims to be a manufacturer.
You want to see the real production environment.
The supplier has not provided adequate photos or video.
An order is delayed and you want someone to visit locally.
You want to confirm that specific goods, machinery or equipment are physically present.
Travelling to China for one supplier or one question does not make commercial sense.

We send the relevant notes, photos and videos and make clear what was observed, what came from the supplier and what could not be confirmed.

If something cannot be checked during the visit, we will say so.

What We Need Before We Go

To assess a visit, it helps if you can send us the supplier’s company name, address, contact person, website or quotation and details of the product involved.

More importantly, tell us what you actually want to know.

If there is a specific production line, product, machine, package, document or area you want photographed or recorded, send that requirement before the visit.

The clearer the questions are before we travel, the more useful the visit is likely to be.

Visit Scope and Travel

Visit cost depends on the supplier’s location, travel time and the work required on site.

We review the request first and confirm the proposed scope and quotation before travel is arranged.

A short visit near our base in Shandong is not the same assignment as a full-day visit requiring long-distance travel, so we do not publish a single nationwide visit price.
