Supplier Verification in China
Before you place an order or send a deposit, it can be useful to know more about the company you are dealing with.
PanDa Exports helps overseas buyers check available company information, contact suppliers directly and, where useful, arrange an on-site visit in China.
We report what we can confirm, what the supplier tells us and what remains unclear. We do not label a company “safe” or “reliable” simply because it exists on paper.

What We Can Check
The scope depends on the supplier and what you want to know.
We can review available Chinese company-registration information, confirm the company name and registered details we can access, contact the supplier directly and ask for relevant company information or documents.
If a site visit is agreed, we can also go to the stated factory, office or business location and record what is actually there through photos, video and direct observations.
A company record can tell you certain things about a business. It cannot tell you everything about how that business operates today.

An on-site visit answers different questions.
It can help establish whether the stated location is operating, what type of facility is there, what activity is taking place during the visit and whether some of the supplier’s claims match what can actually be observed.

Claims or details we could not verify ourselves.
For example, a supplier may state that it produces 500,000 units per year. We may be able to confirm that production lines were operating during a visit, but that does not mean we can independently confirm the annual production figure.
That distinction matters.
When Supplier Verification Is Worth Considering
- You are dealing with a supplier for the first time.
- You are preparing to pay a deposit or place a larger order.
- You have never visited the supplier.
- The supplier says it is a manufacturer, but its role is unclear.
- The payment company name differs from the trading name.
- You want to confirm that a factory, warehouse or specific asset actually exists.
- You are buying machinery and want to confirm the actual machine exists before a separate inspection.

What Supplier Verification Does Not Guarantee
Supplier verification can reduce uncertainty, but it cannot remove all commercial risk.
It does not guarantee future product quality, delivery performance, financial stability or the outcome of a transaction.
Product inspection, laboratory testing, technical inspection and pre-shipment inspection are separate services and may require third-party specialists depending on the product.
